G&T is proud to inspire the next generation of property & construction professionals by providing insights into the industry and profession through meaningful work experience opportunities.
School Years 10-13
If you are currently in school years 10 - 13 and are looking to gain first-hand knowledge of what the construction & property is like, we offer year round work experience placements and Insight Days. Our placements usually last between one to two weeks and offers you the opportunity to spend some time outside of the classroom and gain an insight into the profession.
It may confirm you career choice or open your eyes to options you hadn’t considered. Work experience placements are an opportunity to spend a period of time outside of the classroom learning about a particular job or area of work.
During your placement you will have the chance to develop your communication and teamwork skills, as well as an opportunity to build your confidence and gain a broader idea of how you might like to start your future career.
We also have opportunities throughout the year on our Insight Days, to give you taste of what it is like working in the industry through practical and interactive exercises and hearing first hand about a day in the life of a cost manager, project manager or our infrastructure team.
