G&T APPRENTICESHIPS
Our Elevate Programme has been designed to support apprentices on their journey into the profession, combining practical experience, formal study and structured development. Whether pursuing a career in Cost Management, Project Management or Infrastructure, apprentices gain valuable on-the-job experience while working towards an academic qualification and professional accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or an equivalent professional body.
Our apprenticeship opportunities are open to individuals embarking on a Level 6 apprenticeship. Throughout the programme, you'll work towards an undergraduate degree while developing the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful career in the built environment.
G&T will sponsor your academic studies and provide dedicated support throughout your development journey. You'll spend 20% of your time undertaking formal study at university or with a learning provider, while applying your learning in the workplace through real project experience and collaboration with industry experts.
The Elevate Programme is designed to provide strong foundations for long-term career success, supporting apprentices as they work towards professional accreditation and build the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to thrive in the industry.
Depending on the pathway, our Level 6 apprenticeships typically take between four and four-and-a-half years to complete. Successful apprentices will achieve a degree, gain extensive industry experience and be well positioned to continue their professional development through G&T's Accelerate Programme, supporting their progression towards chartership and future career growth.
“Starting my career at G&T as an apprentice has been an incredibly positive experience. The support network here is amazing, from my line manager to colleagues across different teams, everyone is genuinely invested in helping you succeed. Balancing work and university can be challenging at times, but G&T makes it manageable with structured training, regular check-ins, and people who are always happy to explain things no matter how big or small. The apprenticeship route has really opened my eyes to how much you learn by working directly on a project and having hands on experience from day one builds your confidence so much faster than studying alone. What makes the experience even better is going through it alongside a group of apprentices who are all on the same journey.”Eden Cann, Apprentice Project Manager
